You can find full tour information, including the itinerary, photos and FAQs here on our website. The itinerary is summarised below.
Our first stop is at Brodie Castle, where we will be treated to a private tour of this 16th Century castle; ancestral home of the Brodie family for over 400 years. In most cases we arrive before the castle is open to the public in the morning, so you can enjoy the resplendent surroundings without the crowds!
Our next stop is at Culloden Battlefield, where your guide will bring the battle to life as he captivates you with a historical account of that fateful day, and the events that followed.
Nearby is an exceptionally well-preserved group of prehistoric burial cairns dating back 4000 years. This Bronze Age cemetery features a plethora of historical structures, and will be of particular interest the Outlander fans, who should beware of the split zone buzzing!
On most tours we will take a scenic route to Loch Ness, travelling through rolling farmland and rugged moorland before we catch our first glimpse of the famous loch from above. Our stop here is on the lesser-visited side of this famous loch, at Dores, where you will have the opportunity to stroll on the beach or grab at coffee at a traditional, loch-side pub.
Our final stop of the day is in Inverness; capital city of the Highlands. This is a short stop which will allow you to admire three of the city's top sights; the cathedral, the River Ness and Inverness Castle from a stunning riverside vantage point.
From here, we will journey back over the Kessock Bridge to Invergordon, arriving back in plenty time for your ship's departure.
